Coach Repulski was one of the first staff members hired when Riverview opened its doors in 1958.  He was our first boys’ basketball coach and the first athletic director. He was part of a select group that decided the school colors, maroon and white, and the Ram mascot. He was also the department chair for the physical education department. He even had a gymnastic program on campus.

Ed is best known for his dedication and commitment to the Riverview Golf program that he began. His highly successful program won two State Championships in 1986 and 1988. They were state runner up in 1985 and 1987 and amassed ten district titles. In 1986 Coach Repulski was the National High School Golf Coach of the Year and in 1999 was inducted into the Florida Athletic hall of Fame.  In Ed’s spare time he loved to officiate basketball games and devoted 22 years to that endeavor.  Ripper retired in 1986 but continued to coach the golf team.
